What we collect
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. The site has no sign-in, no forms, no newsletter box, no search field that reaches a server, and no comment section. Every page is pre-rendered HTML served as a file.
The travel booking partner
Research on this site is paid for in part by affiliate commission. If you accept the banner, a script from Travelpayouts (served from emrldtp.cc) loads, and a cookie lets them credit us for a booking you make after following a travel link from here.
We do not send them your name, your email, or anything you looked at on this site — we hold none of that. What they receive is what any website you visit receives: your IP address, browser and the page you came from. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours.
One thing worth stating plainly, because most sites running this tag do not. Their script also tries to contact Google's advertising services — DoubleClick, Ad Manager and AdSense — along with an error-reporting service. We did not ask for that and we do not want it, so this site's Content-Security-Policy blocks every one of those connections. The affiliate attribution works; the advertising calls do not leave your browser. If that ever changes, it will be written here before it ships.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
Analytics
No analytics run on this site. We do not know how many people read a page, which page is popular, or where anyone came from. The only script the site ships is the consent gate described above, which is 1.6KB, self-hosted, and loads nothing until you answer.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical request data needed to deliver a page and to protect the service from abuse — IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. We do not combine this with anything else, do not build profiles from it, and do not sell or share it. Cloudflare's own data handling is governed by its privacy policy.
Third parties
Fonts, styles and images are served from this domain. No requests are made to Google Fonts, a CDN, an ad network, or a social platform, and there are no embedded videos, maps or iframes. The single exception is the travel booking partner described above, which loads only after you accept it.
This site may in future carry an affiliate link to a card issuer. Following such a link takes you to that company's website, where their privacy policy applies. We are not told who you are when you click, and a commercial relationship never changes what we say about a card.
Children
This is a reference site about credit cards and is not directed at children. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children either.
The Krediit app
The Krediit mobile app is a separate product with its own privacy policy. It does hold personal data — your cards, your spend — because that is what it is for, and you opt into that deliberately when you install it. Nothing you do on this website is connected to an app account, and nothing from the app is exposed here.
Your rights
Indian data protection law, the GDPR and similar regimes give you rights to access, correct and erase personal data held about you. We hold none from this website, so there is nothing to access, correct or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look into it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than quietly edited in.
