Does the Flipkart Axis card get Axis's 10% Flipkart offer?

Axis's 10% Flipkart discount, up to ₹1,500, reaches the Flipkart Axis card only on EMI. A full swipe earns the card's 5% instead. How the two compare.

Yes, but only on EMI. Axis’s Flipkart offer takes 10% off an order, up to ₹1,500 per card, and the offer page says it reaches the Flipkart Axis card “only for EMI transactions”. Pay the same order in full with the Flipkart Axis card and there is no instant discount; the order earns the card’s own 5% Flipkart cashback. The offer runs until 30 September 2026.

Every other personal Axis credit card gets the same discount on the same condition: EMI only. The Flipkart Axis card is named in the terms so that nobody reads it as an exception.

How the offer is built

There are two parts. The base discount is 10% of the net cart value on select products, paid as an instant discount at checkout, with a floor of ₹4,990 per order and a ceiling of ₹1,500 per card for the offer period. That ceiling is cumulative. You can reach it over several EMI orders, and once it is used up, later orders get nothing from the base offer.

The second part is a one-time bonus of up to ₹4,000 per card, again on EMI only. It comes in six tiers by net cart value, starting at ₹19,990 and topping out at ₹69,990. The offer page lists the thresholds but not the amount paid at each tier below the top, so the only figure it commits to is the ₹4,000 maximum.

Net cart value is the price of the eligible products after every other discount and any exchange credit. A phone bought with an exchange offer is measured at the price left after the exchange credit.

The discount counts across all of Flipkart’s platforms together: Flipkart, Grocery, Minutes and Travel share the one ₹1,500 ceiling. It does not apply to payments through net banking or UPI, to cash-on-delivery orders converted to prepaid, or to corporate and commercial cards.

EMI discount against the card’s 5%

The base discount fills at ₹15,000 of EMI spend, since 10% of that is exactly ₹1,500. On a ₹15,000 order paid in full, the card’s 5% Flipkart rate returns ₹750. So on the same order, the EMI discount is worth twice the cashback.

Past ₹15,000 the base discount stops growing. On a ₹30,000 order, 10% would be ₹3,000, but the discount stays at ₹1,500. The card’s 5% keeps counting until it meets its own ceiling: ₹4,000 of Flipkart cashback per statement quarter. The bonus tier then decides the rest of the comparison, and its amount below the top tier is not published.

The card’s cashback also arrives later. It is a statement credit on the next statement, while the instant discount comes off the order at checkout.

What the fine print carries

EMI is a loan. The offer page describes the discount and says nothing about the interest or processing fee on the EMI itself, and those are set at checkout for the tenure you pick. A discount of ₹1,500 on an EMI plan that charges interest is worth ₹1,500 minus that cost. The EMI screen at checkout shows the figure. Read it before comparing the two routes.

The offer terms also do not say whether an EMI order at Flipkart earns the card’s 5% cashback on top of the discount. Nothing in the terms promises it, and nothing rules it out. Treat any cashback on an EMI order as unconfirmed until it shows on a statement.

If you return part of an order and the rest falls below the minimum cart value, the discount is deducted from the refund. The card’s own cashback is reversed on a refund too. A partly returned order can lose both.

Two smaller conditions apply. A card with dues more than 30 days overdue, or one over its limit, does not qualify. An order of ₹2,00,000 or more needs a PAN upload within 4 days, or Flipkart cancels it.

What to check on your own card

Enter the Flipkart Axis card at checkout and pick an EMI plan before judging the price. The offer page says the discount shows on the payment page once the card details are in, so if the line does not appear there, the product is not in the offer.

Check how much of the ₹1,500 is already used. Earlier EMI orders in the offer period count against it, including orders on Flipkart Grocery or Flipkart Travel.

Check the EMI interest and fee on the plan screen, then set that against ₹1,500. If the plan costs more than ₹1,500, the discount does not cover it.

After the statement closes, check whether the EMI order earned cashback. Also check how much of the quarter’s ₹4,000 Flipkart ceiling your other Flipkart spend has already used, since a full swipe past that ceiling earns nothing more at 5%.

After 30 September

The offer page gives 30 September 2026 as its last day. A later Flipkart offer from Axis would come with its own terms, and none of these figures carry over to it.

Krediit keeps the Flipkart Axis card’s record and its live offers in one place, shows how much of the quarterly cashback ceiling is left before a purchase, and prices a swipe against an offer so the choice at checkout is a number.
